IBRAHIM OKELLO (Camera Assistant)

Ibrahim was born and raised on Rusinga Island.   He took a leave from his studies of Communication Technology in Nairobi in order to assist with the film.  He has experience in film and video production and has been a student leader for over 3 years.  Ibrahim is also an accomplished singer and has his own band.  While his official credit in Nightrunners is “Camera Assistant”, Ibrahim was essential to all aspects of making the movie happen!  He assisted as local AD, he translated, he PA’d  and he even had a small role in the film.  Ibrahim intends to continue his studies with the wages earned while working on Nightrunners.
